Host Family info Blog

In Japan I will be attending Asahikawa Jitugyo High School. I will be living with my Japanese host sister Iori. She is 15 years old. She likes listening to music…me too…I want to make her mix CDs. (If you have an idea of any song or artist write a post.) She has a curfew at 8pm…I start getting ready to go out at this time…OH MAH!!! Today I will write her an e-mail hopes she writes me back.

June

27th: Welcome Party

28th: Introduction- I need to make one using Japanese and English.

July

2nd-3rd: I will go on a overnight trip to the hot springs. They are called Sapporo and there is a hotel there. “Otaru is famous for the canal and products of glass.“ says Watanabe sensei. It sounds like fun. Sapporo is the biggest city in Hokkaido. We might even go to the aquarium there.

10th-13th: School Festival

Quick Side Not...

If you ever been to Japan...Hokkaido...what are the places you seen? What should i see? What are the good and bad side of traveling over seas? Did you stay with a Japanese host family...I am!...(I will post a blog about the information on my host family)

Game Plan

There are 14 days until I go to Japan. I will be there for about one month. I have to make a lesson about America...Ohio...come it is Japan they know all about the fun stuff. It is extremely hard to find something they will care about. I came up with the idea to teach them about American music and Broadway. I know that they know about our music and our Broadway but do they real understand? The translation can get all srewed up when they are converted over to the other language. I hope this works...
